INTRODUCTION and LEGEND: This E-commerce template is designed to help you sell on the public Internet successfully.
Please note the following IMPORTANT template LEGEND:

(1) Blue text represents obvious hyper links, all of which require careful consideration before being altered or deleted. In particular, the hyperlink for Shopping.htm should be preserved for any e-commerce Web site project.
(2) Red text represents informational text which also contains a hyperlink to CompanyInfo.asp where important information for prospective shoppers about you, the merchant is located.
(3) Text in black (such as this text box) is purely informational in nature and should be DELETED before the template is renamed, saved, generated and uploaded to a Web server.

Template Hint #1: Please study the Site Manager (all five layout windows) before altering or deleting any template element. The Quick Start Guide contains a useful tutorial on WebShop basics, including the types of pages that WebShop can create. For example, this template home page, named index.htm is a Free page.

Template Hint #2: To customize the home page of this template, just click on an element to select it for moving to another location or for re-sizing. Double click on an element to enter Edit mode, wherein text can be changed or replaced.

Template Hint #3: This template contains the E-Commerce "engine." No transaction ability can be added to a plain WebShop template. Therefore any WebShop project intended to be launched as a public Internet Web store MUST begin as a WebShop E-commerce template featuring the accompanying wizard.

Template Hint #4: This template contains a default Microsoft Access database file. Preserve this file. You may edit, add or delete items in this file. If you want to import an existing Microsoft Access database file, you MUST make sure you format your existing Access file to meet the format of the template Access database BEFORE you make the import.

Template Hint #5: WebShop's E-Commerce "engine" uses a buy button which will likely look good no matter what Style Set you use. However, if you must change it for aesthetic reasons, it should be changed with careful discretion. Please refer to the Web page Read_Me.htm for specific step-by-step instructions.

Template Hint #6: The page Read_Me.htm serves as an immediate resource for important information. Please make sure you study Read_Me.htm, copy and paste it to a word processor, or print it out for future reference. Make sure you delete Read_Me.htm before you upload the template to a Web server.

Template Hint #7: In the extreme lower right hand area of this home page, a small graphic image appears. It serves as a link to the administrative pages via browser. There are important security issues to consider. This link is one of two ways to reach your administrative pages. If you want to delete this link you may do so, but make sure you have learned the other method for accessing your administrative pages. This is one of the important template topics covered in the Read_Me.htm page.
Feel free to customize these templates to suit your specific business or style, but it is strongly recommended that you learn the purpose of each template element before making any decision to delete.
